1 November 2015, Abu Dhabi: Inakaya Abu Dhabi – robata grill and sushi Japanese restaurant – has been recognized as the Favourite Japanese Restaurant in the upscale category in the prestigious What’s On Awards 2015, recently held in Abu Dhabi.
With What’s On Awards considered to be one the most prestigious accolades for UAE’s hospitality, entertainment and food and beverage industry, the recognition holds a special significance for Inakaya: the award is based on popular choice whereby the winners are voted and selected by the general public.
Opened one year ago at the Venetian Village, Inakaya has earned its reputation and popularity by offering a traditional robata-yaki Japanese cuisine in a contemporary yet authentic izakaya setting enhanced with theatrical elements.
Earlier this year, Inakaya’s interior design has been recognised in the Best of Restaurant category at the Middle East Interior Design & Architecture Award 2015 (MEIDAA).
Inakaya is an internationally acclaimed Japanese restaurant that first opened in Roppongi, Tokyo in 1970 and has since expanded into New York, Hong Kong and now Abu Dhabi. Located at the Venetian Village within the grounds of The Ritz-Carlton Abu Dhabi, Grand Canal, Inakaya Abu Dhabi enjoys a premium waterfront location that adds to the quality of food and overall distinctive restaurant ambience.
